I am digitally included … are you?

Yup it’s official - I am addicted … and am fortunate enough to be digitally included (that means sitting in the garden of my mother’s house eating a hot cross bun on a bench surrounded by forget me nots, in the sunshine, in the fresh air - and online) … talk about Digital Britain!!

Anyway - if you are coming to the National Digital Inclusion conference in London on 27 / 28th April (from here on in to be known by its Twitter hash tag as #NDI09) - then you might be interested in the evening free fringe meeting. Stuart Parker from WeShareStuff.com describes it; “a little ‘do’ at the Westminster Student Union bar. Basically an informal drink and chat open to both conference delegates and non delegates. We were keen to try and get people networking from all angles of digital inclusion, hence the live twittering in the day and the open event in the evening.”

It is for conference delegates and non delegates and will be held at Westminster Student Union bar, Inter:Mission

from about 7.30pm …

find out more from Stuart on his blog on the excellent http://net.digitalengement.org website (and while you are there don’t forget to join if you have any interest in Digital Engagement - growing in numbers, stature and interesting articles)

The main conference itself looks to be shaping up well - you can follow it online via a web stream, you can look out for it (or Tweet about it) on Twitter using #NDI09 … there will be ‘live blogging’ from Dave Wilcox at Social Reporter and Dave Briggs - so lots of ways to get involved.

If you want to get a little more involved - particularly in the WeShareStuff evening event then go to http://www.twitterlizer.com/p/telltheworld and follow the instructions and become part of a social engagment experiment that will be featured throughout the conference.

Are we digitally included? Yes we are!

Now then - back to that hot cross bun.
