Interesting morning - interactive meetings
This has been an interesting week for interaction - started off with a very frustrating Skype conference meeting which - on fast broadband - was totally unintelligible and was probably much less constructive than a traditional phone line in would have been. Apparently I sounded as if I was mumbing next to a very loud budgie and I thought that the DC10plus mar coms group all sounded like chattering monkeys - the whole thing descended into disaster as I sat at home waving frantically at my laptop to try and attact attention to ask a question and back in Nottingham, the group could just see an over excited waving person projected on to a white screen and all they could hear was cheeping … which brings me to Twitter.
This morning I found through Twitter that there was a seminar at the RSA on Social Capital and Digital Inclusion - good to follow the updates on Twitter but even better on
http://connectedcommunities.rsablogs.org.uk/
and
http://net.digitalengagement.org/
there was an excellent feed from Cover it Live allowing Tim Davies to blog the event live (and very well) and anyone following it to feed comments in and respond in real time …
you can ‘replay’ the event coverage at both of the sites shown above and also now follow the post seminar discussion and blog debated at
http://net.digitalengagement.org/
Excellent form of engagement …
off now to sell my budgie
